When did you last see the sunset or sunrise? When did you last go for a bushwalk? When did you last swim in the ocean? Describe these times. What's your favourite place in nature - why?
Great questions Kmart Journal! Ha-Ha!
The last time that I watched a sunset or sunrise was the about three mornings when I woke up at 4:40am (not sleeping the best at the moment) and couldn't get back to sleep, so I did get to see the sunrise. It was also very peaceful and I find that now that I am waking up a bit earlier, that I am more productive with my day, especially in the mornings. I am going to try and start to get up earlier. I have always been a bit of a night owl, therefore I find it hard to get to bed early and end up sleeping in later.
I haven't been on a bush walk for quite some time, but I do try to walk my dog every day and I get to walk to the waterfront whenever I want! I am not that fond of creepy crawlies, so I don't like to do many bush walks in case I see a creepy crawly. Ha-Ha! They literally give me the heebie jeebies and I just want to run. Way too much anxiety for me! Ha-Ha! Plus the fact that there are snakes and spiders on top, it is just a big no from The Norty Borderline! Ha-Ha!
The last time that I swam in the ocean, was also quite some time ago. It is now winter where I live, so not exactly the weather to be swimming in. As soon as I think it is warm enough though, there will be nothing stopping me from swimming in the ocean! I love the ocean and it brings me a lot of inner peace being able to walk along the beach or swim in the ocean. I find it rather therapeutic for my soul. I am extremely lucky to be living where I do now and can access the water just by going for a walk! So extremely lucky!
I think that my favourite place in nature would have to be the ocean. I love hearing the waves and looking for seashells. Who doesn't love that?!
Have you done any of these activities lately? If so, what did you do and did you enjoy doing it? Are there activities that you don't like doing, like myself and if so, what? I'd love to hear your comments!
